Cancer is the second most common disease in the world and the role of pathology is crucial in providing accurate diagnoses through biopsy. The true heroes of the lab are histotechs and histopathologists who tirelessly work to give early and accurate diagnoses for better patient outcomes.
PathnSitu is proud to acknowledge and applaud these unsung warriors of the lab by relishing their talent in staining beautiful slides. Recently, we conducted an "Art of Histology" contest to showcase their amazing skills. We are thrilled to announce the winners of the contest: Ms. Jijjuvarapu Shirisha (Senior Technician from Apollo Hospital, Jubilee Hills, Hyderabad) and Dr. Kseniya Ruksha (Pathologist from Belarussian State Medical University, Minsk).
The 1st Runner Up is Ms. Anila B I (Senior Technician Supervisor from Aster Medcity, Kochi) followed by the 2nd Runner Up, Mr. Raghu Ram Sai (Junior Technologist from Apollo Hospital, Jubilee Hills, Hyderabad). We extend a special thanks to our jury panel for their invaluable contribution in judging the contest and giving their scores.
